Whosoever means me, for it means anybody and everybody who calls upon God. I will therefore follow the leading of the text, and at once call upon the glorious Lord who has made so large a promise. My case is urgent, and I do not see how I am to be delivered; but this is no business of mine. He who makes the promise will find ways and means of keeping it. It is mine to obey His commands; it is not mine to direct His counsels. I am His servant, not His solicitor. I call upon Him, and He will deliver. --C. H. Spurgeon
Deanna here again: Yes, the case is urgent. But you are a covenant keeping God and you do the delivering. We are just expected to simply obey. Making that personal, I am expected to obey. I will give all for you, Lord. All. Holding nothing back ~ surrendering absolutely all to you. All means all. Just like it says. But that's so loaded. I don't think any of us really knows what we are saying when we say "all" until more things unfold that you require of us. But more and more I'm finding new ways to offer you my all. I never dreamed of what just might be required of us in the end times. It all seemed so far away before but now I sense your coming is so close at hand. I am preparing myself for whatever you may ask of me. I am Your servant. Be it unto me according to Your Word.

PD, my husband looked at me yesterday morning and said, "In order for the End Times to happen, changes had to take place." There's an urgency, a responsibility in the air for Christians.
I know Angie. I hate to admit this but I foolishly thought we have more time than we do. I guess I was really in need of more of a personal awakening/revival myself for I preached "let's get out there...we need to be about the father's business," but now I realize although I did believe it, perhaps I did not believe it as urgently as I should have.
I grew up in the church and as many people who did, we've been told our whole lives that Jesus is coming back. It becomes easy to become desensitized until something shakes us.
Okay, so I'm fully awake now. And determined to pray and evangelize like I never have before.
Yes, I grew being told and believing that my great grandmother would not pass away...that was going up with the rapture. She passed away in 1999 at 98 years old. For those of us who have been raised up in the church, it's our time to stand up and live out our lives as they were intended to be lived. We were born during this generation for this very reason.
Hey Deanna, here are some verses the Lord gave me last night at service. I believe these verses apply to everybody because this was a year of change and preparation and there was the common struggle among Christians to surrender to God's ways in their difficult situations (without knowledge of why it's happening). We are in the last days and God is shaping us into warriors equipped to be Jesus to those that need it. In doing this we need to be empty of pride, control, selfishness, self-pity, and fear. Like you said "All for you, Lord." There needs to be focus now that we see why we've been through what we have. We need to have faith in our prayers and in what He's said and is saying.
Whew! Here they are: Isaiah 61:1-7, Matthew 10:34-42, John 12:24-27, Philippians 2:3-8.
Isaiah shows our role and His provision. Matthew shows our commitment to Him and our reward. John reveals surrender and embracing the moment. Philippians shows selflessness and the way we stay in all these things and attributes from God. The way is humility and obedience. That's how Jesus went to the cross and rose from the dead. Sometimes we need to do things just because He says so. We don't need the why because we trust Him. He does know what He's doing:-)
Thanks Aaron and Angie...it's good to have the comfort of friends and especially the Word of God. In the body of Christ, we need one another to help us stand strong until the end of the race he has called us to run.
